Iron Holm Oak – Sustainable Mining & Industrial Strategic Minerals
Sustainable Mining & Industrial Strategic Minerals

Iron Holm Oak

Funded by the EU
About us

IRON HOLM OAK, is an industrial mining project for the recovery of iron ore exploitations in the southwest of the Iberian Peninsula.

The value proposal of the project is based on the industrial development of an economically depressed area, through the valorization of its endogenous resources, incorporating modern technologies, under high criteria of environmental, social and economic sustainability.

Using iron ore as a driver, the project plans a circular use of the exploited mining resources, recovering other strategic marketable materials such as REE, granodiorite or low-grade irons.

In addition to this, our sustainable commitment is complemented with the following points:

Water recycling

Green energy

Automation

Digitalization

Community integration

Mining Resources

The concessions and research permits yield gross resources estimated at 58 million Mt with an useful life of 22 years.
The main product will be an iron ore presented as high grade pellet feed (71% Fe) with extended added value and controlled break even to keep production stable in the market in highly volatile environments.
