Business Model – Sustainable Strategy
Circular use
We are committed to the circular use of the extracted resources through the process designed for each economically usable element, incorporating innovation both in the recovery of strategic materials such as iron ore and REE or in the use of geopolymers in the use of waste for construction materials. The tradable products would be:
· High quality iron ore
· Low quality iron ore
· Granodiorite
· REE
· Construction materials
Closed Water Cycle
We propose a closed cycle where the water from the processes is recycled for use in the exploitation activities. With this we manage to avoid sludge dams that generate a short-term cost and an environmental impact.
The project has access to important water reserves next to the location of the process plants with availability and capacity to supply the needs.
Automation
The operation, process and storage areas will be connected by an automated system of closed conveyor belts that offer the following advantages:
· Reduction of the carbon footprint of vehicles inside the exploitation
· Reduce pollution and dust
· Increase security
· Increase efficiency
Green Energy
The region where the project is located has excellent conditions for the production of solar energy. It is proposed to study self-consumption to reduce the impact and volatility of energy costs.
· 3.324 hours of sunlight
· 5.7 kWh/m2 day
Digitalization
We will develop a digital twin of the operation and process to measure productivity, detect possible failures and implement improvements.
We also want to implement a blockchain model to connect all the links in the production chain from the operation, process, logistics to the final marketing of the product.
Community integration
Social sustainability is the key to coexistence in harmony with the community in which the project is installed. IHO proposes the creation of a social fund referenced to its profits so that the value created is reinvested in the community creating new opportunities.
· Training of workers
· Employment creation
· Incorporation of women into the mining world
· Reduction of the impact of the activity on society
